Dean of the School of Art and Design and the School of Digital Art Industry at Hubei University of Technology, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. A Hubei Chutian Famous Teacher, an Outstanding Young Social Science Talent in Hubei Province, Deputy Secretary-General and Executive Director of the Design Education Committee of the China Higher Education Society, one of the first experts of the China National Folk Arts and Crafts Association, a Distinguished Director of the China Arts and Crafts Association, a member of the National Arts and Crafts Standardization Technical Committee, Director of the Hubei Cultural and Creative Industry Design Research Center, President of the Hubei Cultural and Creative Industry Association, and Director of the Hubei Cultural Heritage Digital Revitalization Laboratory. I have long focused on AI-enabled new materials and cultural heritage revitalization. In recent years, I have led over 40 national, provincial, and ministerial projects, including the National Art Fund Communication and Promotion Project "Upholding Integrity and Innovating in Contemporary China—Exhibition on Chinese Craft Heritage and Digital Cultural and Creative Design" and the National Art Fund Talent Development Project "Training Young Talents in Digital Cultural and Creative Design for Museums." I am the head of a national first-class program and the head of a teaching team. I have won the Hubei Provincial Teaching Achievement Award five times in four consecutive years. Focusing on AI art, he has conducted in-depth research in intelligent semantics, intelligent vision, and deep learning evolutionary algorithms. He has applied for over 20 AI art invention patents and software copyrights, including "A Method and System for Real-Scene Image Synthesis" and "A Method and System for Intelligent Speech Classification." He has guided students to win over 100 national academic competitions and establish nearly 10 high-tech enterprises.

湖北工业大学艺术设计学院院长、数字艺术产业学院院长、教授、博导，湖北省楚天名师，湖北省优秀青年社科人才，中国高等教育学会设计教育委员会副秘书长、常务理事，中国民族民间工艺美术家协会首批专家，中国工艺美术学会特邀理事，全国工艺美术标准化技术委员会委员，湖北省文化创意产业设计研究中心主任，湖北省文化创意产业协会会长，湖北省文化遗产数字活化实验室主任，长期聚焦人工智能赋能新材料、文化遗产活化等领域。近年，主持国家艺术基金传播交流推广项目《守正创新·当代华章——华工艺传承与数字文创设计展》、国家艺术基金人才培养项目《博物馆数字文创设计青年才培训》等国家级省部级课题40余项。国家一流专业负责人，教学团队负责人，连续四届五次获湖北省教学成果奖。围绕人工智能艺术，在智能语意、智能视觉和深度学习演化算法技术等方面持续深入研究，申请“一种真实场景图像合成方法及系统”“一种语音智能分类方法及系统”等人工智能艺术发明专利及软件著作权20余项。指导学生获国家级学科竞赛奖100余项，创办高新技术企业近10家。
